Processed coconut fibres are the byproduct of the coconut industry which, without its usefulness to gardeners, would otherwise be disposed off. As a growing medium Coco Peat, also called as coir or coir dust, provides an alternative to potting soil featuring high water retention, suitable aeration and antifungal benefits. Coco peat is not only a natural, often organic product, but also a renewable one with a slightly acidic pH that many plants prefer to grow in. We produce Coco Peat from raw materials directly collected from our own fibre mill. These raw materials are sieved to remove the fine particles and to improve air porosity around the roots for better growth. The coir dust is washed (to make it low EC), heat treated, screened & graded before being processed into various Coco Peat products for Horticulture, Floriculture & Industrial absorbent applications.
